Jeff Phillips is a retired corporate executive and long-time Elder at Authentic Life Fellowship, serving since 1997. He sits on multiple nonprofit boards, including YTM, helps with his family’s small business, and leads short-term mission trips. Passionate about spiritual growth, authentic relationships, and everyday faithfulness, Jeff has led or joined missions to Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, Nepal, and Kenya. He’s especially committed to connecting others with missions both locally and globally.
Misty Goodwin began her journey with God in childhood, but experienced a deep spiritual awakening at age 30 that led to a life of greater surrender and purpose. A pivotal moment came with her first mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2023, which ignited a passion to be a voice for God. Whether serving in local projects or on international missions, Misty finds purpose and fulfillment in sharing God’s love. Continually growing in her walk with Christ, she sees her life as a living testimony and counts it a humble honor to serve wherever God leads.
Joshua Slinkard is a pastor and two-time graduate of Criswell College. He felt the call of God to ministry while a teenager and has taught, preached, and led worship for more than 15 years. He remembers as a child be inspired to go on missions as his mom read to him books about missionaries like Gladys Aylward and Hudson Taylor. He has participated in several local and state missions efforts, but his first international mission trip was to the Dominican Republic in 2023. He is passionate about spreading the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
Jordan Rice is a college graduate currently seeking a career as a firefighter and a deacon at Authentic Life Fellowship. He fell in love with mission trips and spreading the word of Christ after his first mission trip to Nepal in 2022, since then he’s gone to the Dominican Republic and Kenya, with hopes of many more in the future. He’s passionate about showing the love of Christ to every adult and child he comes into contact with.
